Stoke Court is a late 16th Century Grade II Listed Dwelling (1955) in Stoke St Mary, near Taunton. The building has now been split into two semi-detached two storey dwellings.
Trevor J Spurway (Architect) Ltd were appointed by a private client to design a new single storey extension, alter the internal layout and generally restore the existing fabric.
The subservient extension respects the character of the building whilst introducing a new rejuvenated and attractive living space with new reformed internal alterations that utilise the extents of the existing fabric.
This economical growth to modern lifestyle and demands complements the conservation of the building with a new active prosperity, which brings maintenance and restoration to preserve its historical nature.
