Trevor J Spurway (Architect) Ltd was approached to prepare a feasibility scheme to an existing converted barn. The brief was to prepare a phased scheme which would allow the existing building to be upgraded and then developed to include a new kitchen/sun room and external dining area, new bedroom accommodation and a new garage.
Upon the production of the feasibility study we proceeded with obtaining Planning and Building Control Consents for all phases of the development over a period of 5 years.
The key design elements within the new kitchen/sun room area included a lofty roof space to create an open, airy space and incorporated the existing external fabric of the building internally within the new design.
Following the completion of the works the building was featured within Home and Renovation Magazine.
