Colourtone is a thriving printing company which initially consisted of two small single storey industrial buildings on the outskirts of Taunton.
Trevor J Spurway (Architect) Ltd was assigned in 1998 to extend the premises to increase production capacity. We retained the largest existing building and extended with a two storey steel framed extension adding an additional 442m² to the premises. We then added a designated parking area and new entrance.
Following the continuing success of Colourtone’s business, in 2007 we were re-approached to further extend the previous extension and car parking. We continued the portal frame structure with three additional bays with an overall area of 302m². Two bays have disabled WC facilities to allow them to be initially rented out.
