Hunts Court is a landmark building located within the centre of Taunton and was given Grade II status in 1975. The building was originally constructed in 1905 and designed as Taunton’s Art School, before being converted in 1970 to office use by the local council until 1999 and then vacant for eight years.
The change of use of the building from office use to mixed development consisting of restaurant and residential has provided the building with a revitalised future. The contemporary and modern design of the flats, have brought back the original principles and inherent character of large open light and airy spaces.
Innovative design of the lower ground floor and ground floor have allowed for a new restaurant area enjoying the original gallery spaces.
