The original St. Margaret’s Somerset Hospice building was built approximately 20 years ago and during this time it has had to evolve to meet the ever changing care requirements and needs. Unfortunately the Hospice found that the original building could no longer accommodate any further updating or modernisation, and so Trevor J Spurway (Architect) Ltd was commissioned to undertake the design of a new 16 bed building with auxiliary facilities and to prepare a strategy to enable the continuing use of the existing Hospice in its current location alongside the new building.
