NEW DENTAL SURGERY
CHARD, SOMERSET

The new dental surgery is located in the town of Chard in Somerset and was commissioned by Somerset Primary Care Trust. The building was previously a car showroom and workshop before being creatively converted into a new surgery.
To meet the current dental requirements the building includes a main reception and waiting area, seven surgeries, sluice room and x-ray facilities. Through innovative design the existing single storey building was converted to include a new first floor level which included two open plan office spaces, staff accommodation and facilities. The building was delivered ahead of programme and on budget.
