The project involved designing to achieve planning permission to replace a 2½ storey dwelling and a 2½ storey former nursing home to the north of Gloucester city centre with a new retirement housing development comprising of 29 one bedroom apartments, 19 two bedroom apartments and various communal facilities.
By the use of an appropriate massing, form and scale, the use of locally found design styles and materials, our design solution complimented the existing street scene within an attractively landscaped setting which resulted in full planning permission being granted.
